Healthy Food Bag Program
Residents of Santa Cruz County, California age 55 and older are eligible to sign up or renew below to receive a weekly grocery bag filled with fresh produce and healthy staples. Grey Bears distributes these Healthy Food Bags at various locations throughout Santa Cruz County, conveniently near your home or workplace, 48 weeks a year. Home deliveries are only available for seniors who are disabled and aged 50 or older. If you are a home-bound senior and require this service, please indicate it on the form.

Healthy Food Bags are not delivered during the weeks of 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
We also offer other ways for seniors to access nutritious food, including the free Grey Bears On-site Food Distribution Market, where Santa Cruz County seniors can pick out fresh produce for free from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and enjoy a lunch served at 11:30 a.m. each weekday, Monday through Friday.
