Recycle at New Leaf Capitola

new_leaf_capitolaThis Saturday, January 10, 11am-3pm – Grey Bears hosts a neighborhood e-waste, recycling and household items collection at New Leaf Community Market on 41st Avenue in Capitola. Neighbors are invited to donate any electronics, computers, printers, monitors, TVs, cables, phones, audio/video gear, appliances (big or small), scrap metal, etc.

Household items in good condition are also accepted for the Grey Bears thrift store – small furniture, kitchen items, clothing and accessories, books, CDs, DVDs, garden items, textiles, and medical equipment, bikes and more.

All proceeds benefit the Grey Bears Brown Bag Program, delivering shopping bags of healthy groceries to 4,500 Santa Cruz County seniors every week. Thank you for your support! Grey Bears works with e-steward certified processor ECS Refining.

Grey Bears is growing, and we need your help!

The new Kristina Mailliard Center for Healthy Seniors, located next door to our existing operations at 2710 Chanticleer Avenue, will provide Santa Cruz County's rising senior population with access to vital nourishment and social connection. Help us build a space for every senior to belong.
